The ferry schedule doesn’t leave much room for getting back to the mainland on Saturday evening, so we hope you’ll plan to stay on the island for the night. Also, Block Island has a limited amount of lodging, and it fills quickly — we’d encourage you to book as soon as you’re able. Some hotels don’t release all of their rooms online, so it’s worth calling directly. Beyond the hotels and inns, Block Island Reservations is a good resource for house rentals all over the island that are more economical. For a sense of where things will be: the reception is at the Spring House Hotel, 51 Spring Street, about a quarter mile from the Old Harbor ferry.
